Brake System Coating
Brake systems show significant benefit when coating technology is applied. Braking efficiency can be increased through reducing the transfer of heat from the rotor/pad interface. Caliper and brake fluid temperatures can be significantly reduced with an attendant increase in brake performance. Rotor and wheel bearing temperatures can also be reduced, as well as the attendant thermal transfer to the wheel/tire assembly. Lubricants on piston and bore can reduce seal wear and leakage.
Retail, Bulk, & Shop Only Brake System Coatings
Caliper: CBC1, CBC2 (shop only), CBX (shop only), Black Satin or TLHB (shop only) and TLTD (shop only) ( Note: the retail packaged products insulate only, the shop products insulate and radiate heat away from the caliper)
Disk Brake Pads: CBC1, CBC2 (shop only), CBX (shop only), Black Satin or TLHB (shop only)
Rotor: No retail material, TLTD (shop only)
Hub: CBC1, CBC2 (shop only), CBX (shop only), Black Satin or TLHB (shop only)
Piston/Bore: DFL-1 and PKSX or TLML (shop only) and PKSX
